Our roastery café is located in Vancouver’s historic Esther Short neighborhood—just steps from the waterfront. Inside, you’ll find:

More Than a Café: Meet the Team Behind the Beans
At Kafiex, coffee is personal. Co-founder Seidy Selivanow placed 7th in the 2025 U.S. Barista Championship—just 4 points shy of the finals. Meanwhile, Matthew Selivanow placed 4th in the U.S. Roasting Championship for the second year in a row.
Together, we roast every batch in-house on our Diedrich IR-12, calibrate every pour, and stay directly connected with producers around the world. When you visit, you’re stepping into a working roastery guided by care, craft, and connection.
