At Kafiex Roasters, we are proud to offer this exceptional, naturally processed Maracaturra from El Socorro Farm in Palencia, Guatemala. Managed by the renowned coffee producer Juan Diego De La Cerda, El Socorro is a multi-award-winning farm known for its dedication to quality and sustainability.
Located at elevations between 5,250 and 6,000 feet, the farm's unique microclimate provides ideal conditions for growing rare coffee varieties like Maracaturra, a large-bean varietal prized for its complexity and rich flavor. This particular lot was processed using the natural method at the request of Kafiex, even though Juan Diego was initially hesitant. His commitment to excellence shines through in every step of production, resulting in a coffee that bursts with vibrant fruit flavors and a balanced acidity.
The Maracaturra from El Socorro delivers tasting notes of stone fruit, citrus, and honey, complemented by a creamy body.
